Naked Apple is coming to Front Royal!
Why are we Naked?
How Our Co-op Got Its Name.
Years ago our family was looking for a name for our family homeschool. My friends had these creative names like Laundry Hill Elementary, so natrually I wanted something that was fun and meant something to our family. When my child was a toddler, she loved apples, but she would always ask for them to be naked apples (peeled). One summer we were moving from Washington State to Maryland, and after seven days in the car with nothing to entertain ourselves, we started debating homeschool names again. In the midst of throwing out names our daughter, Allie asked for an apple. I told my husband “Twenty bucks says she asks for it to be naked.” She sure did, and it was in that moment, while digging for an apple in a car full of road trip snacks, that the idea for Naked Apple Elementary and Middle School was born. When we moved into our homestead, it was only natural that it became Naked Apple Homestead. So when I formed our co-op it was obvious that we needed to call co-op something similar so Naked Apple Tribe was born. Ever since, it is the number one question we get asked by families, facilities, and anyone else who hears our name.

Refund Policy
We understand that life can bring unexpected changes, and sometimes plans need to be adjusted. However, please note that once you withdraw from the co-op, the refundable family registration fee cannot be reimbursed. Additionally, if a family or student decides to drop out of the co-op, student fees will not be refundable after September 1st.
Nevertheless, if you choose to withdraw from the co-op between class selection in June and September 1st, we can offer a 50% refund of the student fees. This policy is in place because supplies and curriculum are typically ordered or utilized in the weeks leading up to the co-op to ensure preparedness for the first day. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

We are all volunteer moms, homeschooling, with a family and other commitments. We are not a business. Please lavish us with grace, as we will with you! To help keep our tribe in order we have a handbook full of our policies and procedures that help us operate. You can feel free to read through it.
